This upcoming weekend in Richmond, VA Pabst Blue Ribbon is proud to present the Virginia Burlesque and Sideshow Festival. Richmond, Virginia has a vibrant arts community, booming with the Revival of the Vaudeville Arts (RVA). With so much talent, history and commitment in the River City, we just have to share what we have with the World.
This festival is now in its second year. It was founded on the goals of empowering entertainment and mature themes with the public, developing smart, progressive audiences who support the regional Revival of Vaudeville Arts: Burlesque, Sideshow, and Circus. Beyond that it offers both career performers and novices the opportunity to network, learn, and innovate their art, businesses, and lives.
To do this, we are bringing international artists to the city, producing a three-day, full-immersion event with live performance, panel discussion, film viewing, workshops, awards and more. We are proud to be working with Safe Harbor RVA to make the world a safer place. The event is a Future of Tradition Production, sister of ABSfest, an event in Asheville, NC now in its 7th year.
