After two successful years in Portland, OR, Pabst Blue Ribbon is taking the show on the road and expanding the Project Pabst music festival into three new cities in 2016. Along with Portland, the festivals will take place in Denver, Atlanta and Philadelphia. Project Pabst in Portland has brought bands like Modest Mouse, Tears for Fears, Blondie, Weezer, Run The Jewels, Passion Pit and many more to the stage, and after a great response in Portland, it made sense to expand the festival to three additional locations. Project Pabst offers a unique experience, incorporating music, art, hands-on experiences, as well as food and beer at reasonable “non-festival” prices. Aside from great bands, festival goers will be entertained with the PBRcade (an old school arcade), PBR Vandalism which is an interactive art experience utilizing a van as a canvas, and PBR Wax, which is a mobile studio where people can record their own demo of music and take away the recording on a vinyl 45. Additionally, a local artist from each city will be highlighted on a limited edition Project Pabst 16 oz. can.  943974_951761061580605_1801530848207368840_n Matt Slessler, National Brand Ambassador for Pabst Blue Ribbon said, “Portland has been a great success, we can’t wait to have that same connection with Atlanta, Philly and Denver and introduce these great cities to a unique festival experience true to the Pabst Blue Ribbon brand.” The first Project Pabst is set for May 20th through the 21st in Denver, CO; tickets are on sale now. It will feature a series of club shows on the first day by Rocket from the Crypt, Pentagram, Red Fang, Dead Meadow, and The Giraffes.
