This year, PBR teamed up with our long time friends at The Speed Merchant to create a series of custom-built bikes. Consisting of three bikes, the PBR fleet will be showcased at bike shows and rallies across the country including Born-Free 7 and the 75th anniversary of Sturgis. The builds have officially begun and we can’t wait to see how they turn out. When brainstorming concepts with The Speed Merchant’s Brandon Holstein, it was clear that we didn’t want these bikes to be ordinary. We wanted create exciting and innovative bikes that would be appreciated by true enthusiasts. The first bike in the lineup is none other than the infamous “Mako”, a 2003 HD Sportster, built by Brandon Holstein. Some of you may already be familiar with this bike, as it won Brandon the best competition award at Born-Free 5. We loved this bike and were stoked when Brandon offered to add it to our fleet. From the custom gas cap to the sand blasted “American Originals” on the air cleaner cover, this bike was built to perfection. He finished it off in true PBR fashion with a little red, white, and blue paint.
